Wind Quintet Courses

Our residential course for wind musicians (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon and French Horn) has run each year for the last 30 years.  40 -50 musicians take part. With a resident string quartet and pianist, this enables a vast repertoire from trios to wind symphonies to be explored under the tuition of some of Britain's foremost professional musicians. The course is accommodated in an attractive conference hotel, the White Hart, located in the centre of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. The world class event has in the past attracted participants from across Europe and the United States.

The 30th Anniversary 2012 event will run from Saturday July 28th. for a week.  Bookings are being taken.

Norvik Music also publishes Chamber Music for Wind and Wind/Strings often featuring the clarinet or basset horn.  There is the occasional new work,  some new editions of old favourites, some completions of fragments of old masters and arrangements for wind by Duncan Druce, Alan Hacker and Tony Turrill.
